Delporte almost joined Atletico Madrid last summer, but instead signed a new deal with Osasuna.
He said: “Now I only think about playing for Osasuna since I renewed my contract until 2010.
“Here I have a club that has given all its confidence to me, despite taking five months without playing. We were negotiating for seven months and in the end the club delivered a great attack and I am happy here. I do not think I could leave Osasuna.”
