Radu Dragusin is not interested in leaving Italian side Genoa in the January transfer window.

Reports have strongly linked the highly-rated defender with several clubs, including Tottenham, Arsenal and Newcastle United.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is keen to bring in a new centre-back in the January transfer window and have identified Dragusin as his main target.

Dragusin’s agent Florin Manea insists the defender does not want to exit the Serie A club.

“He does not think about money, but about prospects for growth and the team he can play for,” he told Play TV.

“We were contacted by Saudi Pro League clubs, but he did not even want to listen to their proposals.

“Personally, I have not been contacted by Napoli, Roma or AC Milan.

“In any case, Radu is not thinking about leaving Genoa mid-season, it would be like leaving some unfinished business for him.

“I have had contact with clubs in the Premier League, including Tottenham and others, but at this moment he does not want to leave.”

Tottenham have also been linked with a move for Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo, but face competition from Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle in the chase for the Frenchman.
