Lukaku, 17, has stressed that he is a keen admirer of Drogba and the London club have reportedly been chasing the striker over the last 12 months.
“Yes, I called him,” Drogba told Voetbal Magazine.
“I received his phone number from Vincent Kompany. ‘You should sign for Chelsea,’ I told him.”
