Dudek hits out at Liverpool boss Benitez

He told The Sun: “I have to finally tell Rafa I’m leaving because maybe he’s not aware of it.

“I will remember Liverpool fondly as a success but not the situation I’ve found myself in.

“When a player knows he is a slave he’ll never give his employer his heart.

“To get a good keeper they’d have to spend £3million to £4m and then Rafa would have to tell that keeper: ‘You’re going to sit on the bench’.

“But no respected keeper would come under those terms and that’s why they prefer to keep me.”

The Polish keeper has been linked with Wolfsburg and a return to former club Feyenoord.
