Two stoppage-time goals through Louis Saha and Jack Rodwell secured the win for the Toffees.
“Overall it was tight. I think Fulham will feel hard done by that. They lost the game, but it’s a results business,” Moyes said.
“Funny old game, that’s what they keep saying isn’t it and it certainly was that today.
“When Bobby Zamora rounded the goalkeeper with a minute to go I’ve got to say I thought well that’s it done and dusted but we stuck at it. I’ve not won many in recent weeks and I’m glad to get today’s win.
“We’ll try and take some confidence from it. We had to try and find a win from somewhere, we’ve found one today and that keeps us up the table that little bit further.
“Hopefully we can get through this period and then look forward to whatever’s coming next.”
