Everton boss hails Saha signing

Moyes admits he took a ‘gamble’ on the Frenchman, but that it has paid off.

The Toffees boss told the Daily Express: “We took a gamble on Louis, undoubtedly.

“He had been injury-prone but, as well as that, we had a situation where we had to take a gamble because we didn’t have any money to buy a centre-forward.

“We paid nothing for Louis. There wasn’t a nominal fee. All we do is pay Manchester United when he plays for us.

“It was a risk, not because of his ability but because of his injuries.”
