Everton boss refuses to rule out player sales

The Toffees could be forced to sell some of their better players to raise funds that would go to paying off their bank debts.

“I think it’s already been said that the money, depending on the value, would go to the bank,” he told the Liverpool Echo.

“Everybody’s got a price – Fabregas, Ronaldo, you name it. If anyone bids big enough I’m sure we’d take it. I’m not daft.”

When asked about the possibility that Everton could make any loan signings before the transfer window closes, Moyes added: “I don’t expect it. Will it happen? Who knows?”
