Everton skipper warns Fellaini

Neville believes the summer signing from Standard Liege could pick up more suspensions if he fails to do it.

“I think because of his size I think he has picked up a couple of bookings that have been a bit soft,” Neville told Sky Sports News.

“His tackle on Saturday [against Man City] was his first tackle of the game and he got booked.

“Because of his size and the way he plays he is always going to be a target, but he has also got to learn.

“He probably can’t dive in as much and when he goes up for headers he has got to be careful where his elbows are.

“Because he has come from a foreign country it is something he is learning and he has to learn fast because he has been suspended once already.

“We need him on the field because our squad is not that big and we cannot afford players to be out for long.”
