The Australian playmaker has called on Everton to replicate the form that they had at times during the second half of last season.
“The squad is unbelievable, now it’s about maintaining it and making sure we can keep everyone fit,” he told Everton TV.
“I always look forward to the new season but this time I think the preparations have probably been the best in my time at the club.
“I hope this time we can have a great start because I think it’s important for us to take this form into the league, replicate our form from the end of last season and kick on.”
