Sky Sports claims the Toffees have watched Toribio in recent games with Espanyo, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Toribio has made several impressive displays for Malaga this season.
“I ignore the rumours and at the moment my only desire is to focus on Malaga,” said Toribio.
Toribio has two-and-a-half years left on his current contract with Malaga.
