He says: “There was a lot of frustration out there during the Spurs game. The fans were not happy with a few things that went on and they showed that.
“But we were out there trying to win the game. It was just one of those things. There were parts of the game when we played very well and we got at them.
“But you have got to remember that Tottenham are a very good team doing okay in Europe.”
He added: “It may possibly help us that the next two games are away but I still think Goodison is a hard place to come to for opponents.”
