Newcastle and Manchester United have joined the chase for Italy international and Atalanta starlet Giorgio Scalvini.
The 20-year-old has been linked with top clubs around Europe like Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich in recent months after impressing at Atalanta.
Scalvini’s contract at Atalanta is set to expire in the summer of 2028, but is expected that the youngster will leave Bergamo before that.
Scalvini broke into the Atalanta squad two years ago and has become a key player for the club.
Sources close to the two Premier League clubs tells Ontheminute.com that both Newcastle and Manchester United will have scouts keeping an eye on the young defender.
It is not expected that Scalvini will leave Atalanta before next summer.
