The former Arsenal midfielder will get his wish too, if Barcelona beat Bayern Munich and Real Madrid overcome Borussia Dortmund in the semi finals.
“A Barca-Madrid Champions League final would be a very important game in the history of football,” he told RAC 1.
“If this match happens then it would certainly be great for the fans watching on television.
“We will face a very competitive team in Bayern though. During the last five years it has been Bayern and Barca as the best in Europe.”
