A police spokesman said: “We were called at 1.13 am on October 2 to reports of a disturbance outside Faces nightclub in Cranbrook Road in Ilford.
“A subsequent allegation of assault was reported to the police.
“A man in his 20s attended an east London police station in connection with the allegation.
“He has been arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed to return on a date in November pending further inquiries.”
