He said: “My car got done the other week when I popped back in my house for a few minutes to change trainers.
“Because of the situation West Ham are in some people tried to make out it was fans but I know that the genuine ones wouldn’t do that.
“I’ve not had any hate mail either because I’d like to think the fans know I give 100 per cent. When I play there is nothing else other than West Ham going through me.”
