Fergie admits Berbatov could leave Man Utd

Berbatov has recently been strongly linked with a move to French giants Paris St Germain.

When asked on French TV whether the Bulgarian striker could move to PSG, Sir Alex said smiling: “Yes, he might. That’s possible.”

PSG are reportedly ready to pay £18-£20million for the highly-rated striker.

United chief executive David Gill insisted at the weekend that they are not looking to sell Berbatov.

He said: “Everyone has been talking about Berbatov from the outside, saying he wants to leave or that we want him to leave, but we don’t want him to go. We want him to stay. He scored 20 goals last season, so there is no desire on our behalf to see him go.”
