Ferrara not worried by defeat

The Old Lady suffered their first defeat of the season on Sunday, when they lsot 2-0 to Palermo.

“Nothing worked for us tonight, and there are no excuses. Palermo played better and with more intensity,” Ferrara stressed to Sky.

“I am disappointed with the result, but not worried. Sure it hurts, but we must look ahead.”

He continued: “Last Sunday we had a small advantage over Inter, now they have one over us.

“Now there’s a break for the international matches, so I will be without many players. When they return though, we will analyse this match, and make sure that we go back to being tough and compact at the back.

“Tonight we made many mistakes, so hopefully we learn from this. We should be very bitter and disappointed leaving Palermo.”
