Prandelli said: “We had some difficulties, but we still kept a clean sheet which is important. The team showed spirit, this is what’s important for a team to grow.
“Steaua had a better condition than us, but I liked my team’s character and determination. When you play against a team that presses high up the field, it becomes difficult to pass the ball around.
“We tried hard, but often resorted to crosses or long balls to get around them.”
