Marca reported earlier this week that Atletico were ready to sell the striker to Real Madrid for £15.2million.
“Every time there is something, I have never had a problem talking about it,” Atletico chairman Enrique Cerezo said.
“In the case of Forlan, nothing happened, we don’t know anything.”
Cerezo insists there are no problems between Forlan and manager Quique Sanchez Flores.
“There is no problem between Quique and Forlan,” said Cerezo. “Their relationship is perfect. When (Forlan) starts scoring goals, no-one will say any more.”
