Benitez has been out of work since being sacked by Italian giants Inter Milan in 2010.
The Spaniard has recently been linked with the job as Tottenham manager.

“I can 100 per cent confirm that there is no chance (of him going to Sampdoria).
“Where is he now? He is in England and it is his intention to stay there and coach in the Premier League.
“Tottenham? I repeat, he wants to remain in England.”
