Former Liverpool star named new Heartha Berlin boss

Hertha Berlin axed Friedhelm Funkel earlier this week after the club finished bottom of the Bundesliga tabe.

Babbel has been handed a one-year contract at Hertha and is expected to be presented on Tuesday.
