The 31-year-old has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club for the next three years.
Gattuso has been linked with a move to Premier League side Manchester City recently.
A statement on the AC Milan’s official website read: “AC Milan announce the player Rino Gattuso has renewed his contract with the Rossoneri club until 30th June 2012.”
