The 30-year-old will stay on loan at Genclerbirligi until the end of the season.
Vranjes has fallen out of favour at Werder Bremen and has been desperate to leave the club in the January transfer window in order to get regular first-team action.
Vranjes joined Werder Bremen from Stuttgart in the summer of 2005.
