Gilardino’s agent, Marcello Bonetto, insists Gilardino’s future is not linked with coach Cesare Prandelli’s future at the club.
“Gilardino still has a three-year contract with Fiorentina and is doing well. We’re all happy with how things are going,” he explained to TMW.
“Contracts must be respected. It has been said that if Prandelli leaves, so would Gilardino, but they are two separate situations.”
