The Argentine scored 7 goals in 12 games before suffering a slipped disc earlier this season, but is now looking to be fit to play in the Copa del Rey final later next month against Barcelona.
A club statement read: “Having successfully completed the first stage of his recovery, the Argentine player graced the pitch at Valdebebas [Real’s training centre] to conduct some ball exercises.”
