Hodgson was sacked at Liverpool in January but has found himself back in work quickly at strugglers West Brom, who sacked manager Roberto di Matteo last weekend.
Hodgson said: “Clubs which allow you to do the job properly and embrace your philosophies are very important. I believe West Brom are that sort of club.”
