Hull City are considering a move for Lorient centre-back Nathaniel Adjei after making an initial enquiry about the Ghana international.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri revealed via his X account that the Tigers have asked about the conditions for a deal. Discussions remain preliminary, with no offer or agreement close.
Adjei is admired for his physical presence, strength in duels and ability to build attacks from defence. The 23-year-old stands 1.91 metres tall and offers Hull an imposing option as they prepare for Premier League football.
His European journey began in Sweden with Hammarby before Lorient brought him to France on loan in January 2024. The move later became permanent following an encouraging spell.
Hull are examining several defensive options, and Adjei’s profile has clearly caught their attention. Much will depend on Lorient’s valuation and whether talks develop beyond exploratory contact.
