The Catalans ended their five-game winless run on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao.
“I am convinced that we will win La Liga this year. I have complete confidence in the team and we’ve already seen that we are returning to our best. At the moment, the title depends solely on us,” he said in an interview with Catalunya Radio programme ‘Tot Gira’.
“We created a lot of chances against Athletic and we were playing good football again but most importantly, we managed to win.
“There’s one less round of football and we have put more distance between ourselves and Madrid. And it doesn’t matter what they are saying to us because it is just part of the game.”
