Inter and Juventus confirm interest in Siena star

The 21-year-old is currently co-owned by Genoa and Siena. The youngster scored 12 times for Siena in Serie A last season.

“We like Mattia Destro, he has the right identikit for us,” Juve’s general manager Giuseppe Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.

“We are waiting to see which club we have to deal with (as Genoa and Siena discuss their ownership agreement).”

Inter’s sporting director Marco Brance told Tele Radio Stereo: “We are thinking about Destro, but we must evaluate how much he would cost.

“Destro is a great prospect, but we are also looking at other attacking options.

“Will we sell (Giampaolo) Pazzini? We are pleased to hear that our players are appreciated by others and he is one we must decide what to do with.”
