Recoba told Centro Suono Sport: “I would like to play with Roma, although I will need to speak with President Massimo Moratti before I take any decision.
“I have a great relationship with the President and I will meet him this week.
“I had never thought of playing for another Italian club aside from Inter, but if Moratti were to give me his permission and there were the chance to join Roma I would go immediately.
“The Giallorossi play great football. How would it be to play next to Francesco Totti? He scores many goals, together we could score even more.”
