Chivu’s current contract with the Italian giants is set to expire at the end of the season and the 31-year-old defender has so far rejected offers of a new deal.
But Chivu is not interested in a return to Dutch side Ajax.
“Back to Ajax? I’d say he could continue playing abroad, maybe at Real Madrid,” Joan Becali is quoted as saying by ESPNSoccernet.
“I’m talking with three or four big-level teams. He can continue playing for four or five years.”
