Juventus had a poor star to the season, but have now hit back.
“We never for one second thought about giving up. Even when things started to go wrong I always stayed calm. I think we lost certain games because of bad luck and injuries,” Legrottaglie told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
“The group had lost something but the club were really good in the way they supported Claudio Ranieri.
“I think the bad period is behind us now and we can only get better. I think we will be top by December.
“Madrid? It was a brilliant game and one of my best games ever. I would love to play in the Champions League final in Rome and I think we can go all the way.”
