The Old Lady managed to beat Real Madrid 2-1 earlier this week in the Champions League.
“The game holds a special fascination just like the match against Real Madrid,” Legrottaglie told the Juventus Channel.
“I think Tuesday’s game was a turning point in our season and can give us the shot in the arm we needed for this important challenge.
“I wasn’t at 100 per cent against Real because I had a small pain in my gluteus, but I stayed on for the whole first half.
“Experience told me though that I had to come off so that I didn’t risk missing out on the derby.”
