The 30-year-old has failed to make an impact at Juventus since joining the club and has long been linked with a move to the Premier League.
“Liverpool have shown interest in Poulsen,” Marotta told Mediaset after Juventus’ 2-0 Europa League victory over Shamrock Rovers on Thursday night.
“But the fact that he did not play in this game is only due to a technical decision.”
