The Brazil international failed to make an impact at Juventus last season after joining the club from Fiorentina for £22million.
“It is only right that Juventus look after Felipe Melo, as he is owned by the club and therefore one of our assets,” Marotta told Mediaset Premium.
“Having said that, the same applies to him as all the other players when it comes to deciding what is in our and his interest.
“We are therefore carefully evaluating the situation and will listen to any offers that come in.”
