Keane targets top-four finish

Keane feels the Premier League has never been as open as it is this season.

Keane said, when asked what it takes to break into the top four: “I think we know we do.

“You look at Chelsea, they get beat at Wigan. It is going to be one of those seasons, a little bit open, there will be teams around who can beat anyone. We beat Liverpool at home.

“We just need to keep going and hopefully as forward up the table as possible.”

I think if you look at the squad of players we have, what breeds confidence is winning games and we are winning which helps the cause,” he told Sky Sports News.

“It is one of the best squads we have had in my time here.

“It is not just the 11 that start but the squad in depth, you look at the players left out are top, top players – it is a long season to go but everyone will play their part at some stage.”
