Keirrison has failed to make the expected impact at Barcelona since joining the club from Palmeiras in the summer of 2009.
“I belong to Barcelona and want to stay here,” Keirrison told Sport.es. That’s my goal and my intention; to fight for a place in the first-team and prove that I can be an asset for the club, although I am yet to hear from the club for the final decision [regarding my future].
“We shall see what the club tells me [in due course], but I came to Barca straight from Brazil, and I want to grow here, play here and hope to earn a place in the first-team. I know it’s difficult but nothing is impossible. Opportunities arise through hard work and effort. I want to win titles with this club, and not on any other team.”
