The 24-year-old has been linked with moves to both Liverpool and Arsenal in recent weeks.
“Not taking anything away from Gaz, we will miss him, but we have shown we can go on without him,” Knight told the Bolton News.
“I’m sure there are people saying, ‘stay here’ or, ‘go there,’ but Gaz is a young lad and it would be a great experience to go to a big club, if one did come in for him and I think they will.”
