Lavezzi has just recently returned from a hamstring injury.
“He has been doing some good work in Argentina with the medical staff of the national team,” Mazzoni told Radio Marte. “Now, we will wait to see how he will feel on Sunday.
“He was only disappointed that he had to leave Napoli during this period.
“As for the contract, [president Aurelio] De Laurentiis has spoken about the issue at length. Lavezzi will remain for a long time, and this is what he wanted, and we are all very happy,” he concluded.
