Lavezzi’s contract at Paris Saint-Germain is set to expire at the end of the season.
The 30-year-old has long been linked with a move away from PSG, given his frosty relationship with manager Laurent Blanc.
Lavezzi has been linked with the likes of Inter Milan and Juventus.
“Italy is his preferred destination, but there is no hurry,” Lavezzi’s agent Alejandro Mazzoni is quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport.
“It’s normal for big clubs to be interested when a player like Lavezzi can arrive on a free transfer.
“There is nothing as of yet with Inter or Juventus, but things can happen quickly.”
