Lazio director Tare: We’re not in crisis

He said: “The group is a tight bunch of players and friends and in my many experiences in football, I have been involved in many similar situations.

“It’s good to see players with character and a strong sense of passion for each other and for the club.

“What happened after the Bologna match is not strange and there’s certainly no need to make a big deal about the situation.”

He added on their clash against Napoli at the Stadio Olimpico this weekend: “It’s important to reflect and restart immediately as we prepare for the match. They have some very good players, in Hamšík and Lavezzi in particular, but I think we have the quality to win the game.”
