The 26-year-old joined NAC for free after his contract with Ajax expired at the end of last season.
Leonardo has signed a four-year deal at NAC.
“I’m extremely happy with this transfer,” Leonardo was quoted as saying by Sportweek.
“I’ve always enjoyed myself at NAC. The home crowd is amazing and I know most of the players already from my previous spell here. NAC feels like home to me.”
