New Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson has named the Frenchman on a list of possible replacements for Javier Mascherano, who is expected to leave the club this summer.
Flamini have failed to make the expected impact at AC Milan since joining the club from Arsenal in 2008.
He said: “It is not an easy situation. It is frustrating when you feel good and they don’t give you a chance. I am very happy in Italy but now I hope to play more than last year.”
