Liverpool keeper happy to do swap

The Reds are out of the Champions League and are 12 points behind Chelsea in the Premier League, following their goalless draw at Blackburn on Saturday.

“It’s another clean sheet and you saw that we are reacting and trying to do things well,” he said in the Daily Express.

“To defend against a team like this (Blackburn) is not easy, so to keep a clean sheet and have chances and push them in the second half was really good.”

He added: “I would swap a clean sheet for a victory all day long. Apparently we are defending better now than we were and that is important.

“But we have to win because that is what really matters.”
