The Sun reports that the Reds are ready to make a move for Adam, once they have completed the signing of Jordan Henderson from Sunderland.
Liverpool failed to land Adam in the January transfer window.
Liverpool are also keen on signing Blackburn defender Phil Jones and Newcastle left-back Jose Enrique.
