The 26-year-old has been linked with a £8million move from Real, but it is believed Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is holding out for £10million.
He said: “Going back to Spain is always an idea that’s in my mind.
“I’m happy in Liverpool but I’d like to go back.
“I have a year left at Liverpool but anything could happen.”
