But Torres admits he was disappointed with the result in the 2-2 draw with Everton.
“We are disappointed with the result but we are improving and moving in the right direction,” Torres told Liverpool’s official website.
“We will see what happens in the next game. We need to start picking up three points in every game.
“If we had taken the chances we had, particularly in the first half, we would have been winning by two or three at half-time. But that’s football.
“In the second half they started well and scored two goals. After that we had a good reaction and got level at 2-2.
“We had chances at the end but you don’t always get the reward you deserve when you play well. We are disappointed by that.”
