Livorno managed to get their first victory of the season on Sunday, in Cosmi’s first game in charge after replacing Vittorio Russo and Gennaro Ruotolo.
“I dídn’t think we would be able to do something so difficult,” he said to Datasport.
“I didn’t have good feelings ahead of the match, first with the injury of [Romano] Perticone and then the sending off of [Alfonso] De Lucia, it was going to be very difficult.
“However, I don’t want to take all credit for the victory. I also have to applaud who came before me.”
