The Brazilian has developed into one of the world’s best centre halves at the Italian giants.
Allesandro Lucci, his agent, told Sky Italia: “His will is to remain at the club, but he wants to see what developments occur first (in relation to the head coach).
“We have opened negotiations for the renewal of his contract but Lucio is a player who is liked by many clubs.
“In any case, he’s an Inter player and we will try to understand what develops at Inter.”
