Spurs are level on points with Inter Milan in Group A and Lucio is aware that they face a strong team.
The Brazil international told Sky Sports:”Tottenham are rookies in the Champions League but they possess an excellent squad with many internationals and with enormous quality in front of goal. Spurs are the big danger (in this group).
“We are preparing for this match with the same intensity as if the opponent was Chelsea or Manchester United. Experience tells me that any big English club could offer problems.”
Lucio has admitted that they are wary of Spurs striker Peter Crouch.
“A match against an English club always demands the biggest effort from our defenders,” Lucio added.
“But against Tottenham men like Crouch require a special preparation. To stop this forward is not easy but we are prepared for the battle.”
